My name Johnathan Eager and I am visiting France for a few weeks and right now I am in the palace of Versialle near Paris. You must be thinking how much fun it would be to actually walk into Versialle. But I have been here for three days and I am barely surviving. I have had little food and water. Of course you're wondering what's going on and why I am writing in my journal like I am talking to you..... The truth is I don't think I will make it out alive! The whole palace has been surrounded by a group a terrorists. They call themselves "The True French" I have no idea what that means. The French army and the police have been battling them since our capture. The terrorists are well armed with missile launchers, AK-47's, rifles, grenades, and plenty off ammunition. I guess there is about 450 of them. I forgot to mention that they are covered in head to toe in kevlar (bullet proof armor). The army is barely hurting the terrorists because of their armor. The terrorists also fortified the area in front and behind Versialle. They were going to kill us all until the army came. Thank God!!! The terrorists wanted to capture a diplomat who happened to be here in the building. What luck! There is about twenty survivors with us and we made up are own conference room sorta speak to try to escape with out of course any more casualties. The tricky part is to escape undetected or we will be dead. I have to stop writing because we must decide what we are going to do.

On second thought we might make it out alive! We formulated a plan that we will use in 30 minutes. Early today we found a hot air balloon! Can you believe that! The problem with that is that hot air balloons are not missile or bullet proof. Another stroke of luck, the terrorists lost all their missile ammunition! So we took the missiles out of the equation. Now we needed to bullet proof it. There was a few dead terrorists around Versialle so were took their bodies in and took off all their bullet proof jackets and strapped it to our balloon. We had to do this quick. The past 20 minutes the terrorist and the army have been fighting and while they are distracted we will all put the balloon on the top of the palace and hopefully fly to freedom. I admit there is a big chance we will not make it out alive but we have to try. We are all starving and dehydrated. I have to got here are chance. Wish me luck!
Dear journal, June, 3, 2010,
I'm ALIVE!!! Our plan was a success we all came out alive! We are lucky people. As soon as we were air born the terrorists were distracted and were shooting at us and the army and terrorists were in disarray and panicked and later surrendered to the army. When we landed we were greeted by the media, paramedics, family, friends and plain old people who wanted to see us alive. We weren't really seriously injured but we all wanted food. Lots of food! The other survivors and I went to a good restaurant and ate some good food! I think I will write a book about my experience.
The End
